Although my teaching days and evening are nearly entirely booked up most weeks, making it a challenge for new students to find a suitable time to begin lessons, I do have cancellations some weeks from students who are ill, vacationing, gigging or traveling for work. Also, some of my regular students shift their lesson times around due to new work or school schedules, and so sometimes a regular time does open up, as well.
If there is to be an anticipated opening in my schedule (e.g., a student informs me several days or weeks in advance of his or her planned absence), that new opening will appear on my scheduling calendar, so that a new student wishing to begin instruction with me can book that time for a lesson.
Please remember that I am in the Boston area time zone, and that all times for these open lessons will be in local time (EST/EDT).
For students who are able and willing to schedule a lesson on short notice, a waiting list is being compiled. This waiting list will allow the student to provide me with contact information (the best, most prompt method of being reached), as well as his or her available times (EST/EDT). Should a lesson open up with little notice, I will immediately consult the list and contact all who have stated that a lesson at that time on that particular day would be a possibility for them. Students will be booked on a 'first come first served' basis.
My regular teaching hours are as follows:
Tuesday: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm (EST)
Wednesday: 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm (EST)
Thursday: 1:00 pm - 11:30 pm (EST) - (Skype only from 8:30-11:30 pm)
Saturday (2nd Saturday of the month only): 9:00 am - 2:00 pm (EST)
I schedule 'intensives' and most 'in studio' one-time consultations outside of these regular teaching hours. Those who are interested in intensives or consultations longer than one hour in length must contact me directly for scheduling.
